What is The Hope Store?

The Hope Store is more than just helping put a gift for a child under the Christmas tree. Because of your generosity, we have the opportunity to meet the practical needs of children and families throughout our communities. By being generous, we share the love of Jesus and give the lifelong gift of hope.

At The Hope Store, families are paired with a personal shopping attendant as they “shop” to select gifts for their children. Registered children will have a kid-friendly experience where they will hear the Christmas Story. There will even be an opportunity for families to take a Christmas portrait.

How can you get involved?

Join us as we show the love and hope of God to the families in our community through The Hope Store experience on December 9th! Bring 1 boy and girl gift for a child between the ages of 0–17 years of age to the Outreach Corner at every Union location!

You can drop off your gifts in the donation bin on Sundays at any of our campuses or during the week at our Columbia and BWI locations. Last day to bring in gifts is December 9th!

What to purchase?

If you don’t have time to shop, we’ve got you covered! Check out each toy wish list for every campus, purchase the items, and it will be directly mailed to that campus.

Want to make this a family shopping experience but don’t know what to purchase? Check out our suggested toy shopping list!

Interested in serving?

Help create a Christmas mall shopping experience that the families in our community can enjoy! Families will “shop” for Christmas gifts, be served hot chocolate, and more! There will also be an opportunity for The Hope Store guests to take a free family Christmas portrait!

From gift wrapping to greeters to shopping attendants, there is a place for you to serve at each location.
